I have a lot of ideas for new posts, but haven’t started any of them. Most will take a little time and thought. I’m also visiting David again, so I’m not dedicating a great deal of time to writing for my blogs. In the mean time, though I was thinking, just for fun, I’d share a list of a dozen of my favorite manly fictional characters with you. So, here goes.

- Vincent Parry played by Humphrey Bogart in Dark Passage
- Detective Philip Marlowe played by Humphrey Bogart in The Big Sleep

- Charlie Allnut played by Humphrey Bogart in African Queen
I have loved these characters for a long, long time. If I were going to say something lead to my love of the manly man, it’d probably be one, or all, of these guys. Le sigh.
